The Innovator Founder Visa supports entrepreneurs who want to establish and operate innovative, viable and scalable businesses in the UK.
What is the Innovator Founder Visa?
It is the UK route for founders with a genuine, original business idea. Before applying, your idea must be endorsed by an approved endorsing body, which assesses it against three tests: innovation, viability and scalability. Our role is to take an early-stage idea and shape it into an endorsement-ready proposition, supported by a credible plan, financials and delivery roadmap.
Who is eligible?
- A new business idea that is genuinely original, not a copy of an existing offer
- A plan that is viable, with realistic financials and a route to customers
- Evidence the business can scale and create jobs in the UK
- English language ability at the required level
- Sufficient maintenance funds as set out by the Home Office
- An active, day-to-day role in running the business

Business assessment
We stress-test the idea against the three endorsement tests and flag gaps before you invest time or money.
Business plan support
A complete plan: market and competitor analysis, operating model, team, three-year financials and milestones.
Endorsement preparation
Application drafting, evidence packs and interview rehearsal with the endorsing body's criteria in mind.
Post endorsement guidance
